What we offer
Octopus AI builds, connects and maintains conversational assistants that handle a business's messages on WhatsApp, social media, the web and email, along with the websites associated with that service.
The accounts belong to the business
Messaging accounts, social profiles and payment methods belong to the client business. Octopus AI manages them only with the permissions the client grants from their own settings, which they can revoke at any time. We never request passwords or operate with someone else's credentials.
What the assistant does and does not do
- It answers according to the rules, prices and conditions the business defines in writing.
- It does not promise what it cannot deliver: when in doubt, it passes the conversation to a person at the business.
- Any payment details it shares are the ones the business loaded. It never invents them.
- If someone asks whether they are talking to an automated assistant, it answers truthfully.
- Final confirmation of an order and of a payment is always made by a person at the business.
Liability
The business is responsible for the accuracy of the information it gives us (prices, stock, deadlines, bank details) and for the sale itself: product, delivery, invoicing, warranties and claims.
Octopus AI provides a technical service with the greatest care, but depends on third-party platforms (Cloudflare, Supabase, Telegram, Meta, AI providers). We are not liable for outages, blocks, rule changes or suspensions on those platforms, nor for lost profits arising from them. We do commit to reporting the issue and restoring service as soon as possible.
Language models can make mistakes. That is why the system hands the conversation to a person in any case not covered by the business rules.
Acceptable use
The service may not be used to send unsolicited bulk messages, to impersonate people or organisations, to sell prohibited products, or for any practice that violates the policies of Telegram, Meta or Argentine law. Breaching this allows immediate termination of the service.
Service fees
Price, payment terms and scope are agreed in writing with each client before we start. Costs charged directly to the client by third parties — for example Meta's WhatsApp message fees or AI engine usage — are paid by the client and are disclosed in advance.
Termination
Either party may end the relationship with fifteen days' notice. On termination we hand the client their data in a readable format and delete ours as described in the privacy policy.
Ownership
The business's content (catalog, photos, copy, customer data) belongs to the business. The tools, code and infrastructure developed by Octopus AI remain ours, licensed to the client for as long as the service lasts.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Any dispute is subject to the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires.
